Acorn is proud to be awarded Investors in People (IIP) 

The Directors and Senior Management team are pleased to announce that IIP accreditation was gained on 21st March 2006.

Our thanks go to every member of staff as achieving accreditation was a real team effort.

Acorn staff are considerate

With effect from 21st March 2006 all sites in Stockport will be registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme.  The Company is pleased to be applying the Code of Considerate Practice – Considerate, Environment, Cleanliness, Good Neighbours, Respectful, Safe, Responsible, Accountable.

Sustainable approach rewarded

The Company’s reputation for conducting its business in an environmentally sustainable manner has been further enhanced by attaining ISO 14001 accreditation.  We now have in place a formal Environmental Management System which will be monitored and audited both internally and externally.

OHSAS 18001

We are delighted to announce that the Company’s Occupational Health and Safety Management system was officially accredited to OHSAS 18001.  This standard is internationally recognised and achieving this is another important management process which will be integrated with our other Management Systems.
